We, the undersigned, would like lockers to be installed in Avondale College for senior students, year 11 to year13.
Research has shown that carrying heavy bags is not good for a student’s health and well being. Heavy bags are putting a lot of pressure on growing bones and could result in deformed body posture and back pain. We have tried to carry our books and folders in our arms but there is too much, some students have a text book for most if not all of their subjects and carrying it all around everyday causes upper arm pains and is extremely inconvenient.

I have been observing many students struggling with heavy loads across campus throughout the week. This physical strain remains a significant concern for our senior cohort. I am currently preparing a formal proposal to present these findings to the school administration.

about time someone did something my bag weighs a ton
its so annoying how we have to carry everything around all day when we could just have a locker like every other school
