to the new principal: coming into a new school (especially a high school) and the first of many actions you make is taking something away from students is not going to be a great start to the year and first impression. as a graduate i can honestly say that I'm glad i had lockers throughout the years because as an athlete it was relief and convenient to have somewhere to store the many things that come with playing sports and just even being a student. please really think about what you're doing to these kids

Where else will i keep my supplies

Lockers are for us students to keep our belongings safe when not in use, especially heavy books. We shouldn’t need to carry our books and other belongings we need for that day everyday when we already have a place to store them.
