Planning Changes in the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park

This is a beautiful, peaceful hamlet and any planned changes to the landscape, and to biodiversity need to be considered openly, with a full interrogation of the claims made by those wishing to make the changes.

If this had been a Community purchase of land and subsequent development then the process would have been far more rigorous. We do need change and sustainable development but the Scottish Government needs to ensure that comprehensive and transparent cost benefit analysis is undertaken on all aspects submitted by applicants as a means of securing planning permission. Furthermore there should be some form of responsibility on Planning Authorities/National Parks to ensure that applicants are held to these activities, to ensure that planning laws are not being manipulated for personal gain at a cost to Natural Heritage and local Communities.

I am a professional photographer that has had the opportunity to photograph beautiful scenes all around the world. Carrick Castle Glen in my opinion is one of the most fantastic places that I have photographed.

I have never visited this area but see how beautiful it is and should be kept this way for people to enjoy.

Although I live in England now, I know this area very, very well. I have heard about this abuse of power in local democracy. How any individual in the local planning can think this is a good idea and to completely ignore all the thoughts and fears of the people in the local community of Carrick Castle is beyond me. Such a place of great natural beauty will be irreversibly destroyed beyond all recognition for now and future generations. One can only wonder just who those in the planning authority really 'work' for. It certainly isn't the local residents. The planning authority at the very least ought to explain their reasons for granting this application. I would appeal to the Cabinet Secretary to look at this process and throw out this application by these cowboys before any lasting damage is done.

Why do you Want to change something perfect

Its not just a place of beauty think of the wildlife,please leave it as it is

This is a place on natural beauty which should be left that way for everyone to enjoy . In nature it takes millions of years for a landscape to evolve as this one has, and a meat fraction of that time to spoil it with development . Please rethink on development of such a special natural environment , your Michael penny

My son had his first birthday in this area and his brothers still talk about it, as one of their best holidays, over 40 years ago.

Leave this place as it is!!

I beieve loch lomand to be a crucial part of scottish heritage, please dont ruin it.

Carrick is beautiful, peaceful and picturesque. There are other areas which could be used without upsetting nature, visitors and most of all the residents who live there.

BEAUIFUL , STUNNING PLACE , PLEASE DONT SPOIL IT!!

I am a very big fan of this part of Scotland ! Ask my daughter ....

Look carefully into the BIG picture to ensure its not just another rip off of the Scottish people and Scottish land. Dig very deep.

It seems as if the parks department are a law into themselves and are accountable to no one. They make rules and then when it suits them they break their own rules. Obviously this is yet another case of money talks
