Totally agree! When we bought our block, we where under the impression this was part of the plan. Would love to be able to walk or ride my bike to the shop!

Both Clunes General and Baz n Shaz are wonderful local store models. A safe bikeway through to the showground for Farmers Market access is also a high priority (current route dusty and potholed - not nice for bikes)

All for a convenience store. I love Mullumbimby, but I sometimes do 3 laps of town & come home again empty handed because I can't get a parking spot.

Incorporating a store into the Tallowood community would help achieve such important social and environmental benefits. I assume the store was included in original plans because it represents sensible and contemporary planning and community development while also supporting wider strategic planning for Mullumbimby. Very strongly support this sensible and important proposal.

The Tallowood store was part of the original design plan for the Tallowood Estate. Our family, for many reasons, would like this commitment to be realised.

A local store similar to Baz n shaz in Suffolk would be a great addition as well as a great way to create community within tallowood!

we would love to have a shop close to us - we can send the kids down on their bike to, reduce our carbon footprint!

I live in Tallowood and I’d use a a shop rather than getting in my car for basics

Greatly support a local convenience store in our ever growing suburban area. Reduces congestion in the CBD, creates employment and encourages strong community connections.

This will benefit all of Mullum’s residents. I am disappointed by the lack of follow-through with many of the original commitments of the developer. Council, as employed by rate payers to represent the community’s interests, must show some leadership with this development.

I’d love a corner store in Tallowood. Much less driving + community building

In addition the “Kool Kids” early childhood centre “temporary” sign on the corner of Tuckeroo and Left Bank roads should be removed as it is an eye sore and does not adhere to the covenant for Tallowood.
