It's very wrong to transport milk all over Scotland because there are only processors in the central belt. We must have more local milk processors and definitely not close the Aberdeen one.

I detest everything that supermarkets are doing to Scottish milk producers and farming in general. We have the best of produce yet our markets are flooded with imports.

I think it is disgraceful that our milk in Aberdeenshire has to travel so far from the farmers in Aberdeenshire to the dairies then the re-delivered fom the dairies back to Aberdeenshire ther should be dairies in Aberdeenshiredairies. Personally I would love to buy my milk straight from the farmers at the farm gate as you can in certain areas in England I have searched this and found it is against the law in Scotland I also think the farmers should be paid a much fairer price for their milk.

It is imperative that our local dairy farmers milk is processed locally. Surely a local processing facility can be viable in this wonderful farming area

You never get real fresh milk from any of the supermarkets so lets support our local farmers and maybe we can get back to them delivering to the door which would be even better still.

It's a disgrace the UK government allowing this to happen to farmers.

I am all for buying local whenever I can. Supermarkets should always use local suppliers wherever it is possible.

Shocking that NE dairy farmers have to pay for transporting their milk to the central belt only for it to be transported all the way back up. Buy local milk - it's far better!
