I want to support the dairy farmers & buy my milk locally. It would be better if could process their milk somewhere around Aberdeen. It would be cheaper for the farmer. It is terrible they have to pay to transport their milk down south. They have a hard enough time for all they get for there milk, no wonder they struggle with the price of feed to feed the cows.

Keep things local I say. It's idiotic milk being shipped to the likes of Glasgow only to be distributed back up to the north-east of Scotland. More centralisation is drawing as usual drawing jobs away for Aberdeenshire.

Local milk has local grass pollens! It's no much wonder kids are suffering grass allergies if they cant even build immunities by drinking local cows milk with their cereals

This is a shocking situation. Milk should be local. I won't buy milk from any supermarket until this is sorted. Support local farmers and cut costs.

I feel that there should be a minimum cost on milk and our local farmers should not be penalised by having to pay to have their product collected.

Lets support our local farmers. Supermarkets need to start doing more for local milk and other produce. Perhaps even our planners and councillors looking at supermarket planning permission in places such as Stonehaven could make the requirement to source as much local produce as possible a condition of approval?

We should be reducing the miles food is transported, not increasing it. Increase freshness and reduce pollution.
