Every day foods are transported from miles away, packed with pesticides and hormones, only to wait in the supermarkets relying on their preservatives to keep them fresh long enough to be consumed by you. You might be thinking right now; "Geez I don't want that in my body", and you are right. Millions of Americans suffer with the unintelligece of where their food comes from. You might be puzzled trying to find an alternative solution. That's where this petition comes in. One of the major reasons why people aren't eating local is because it is very hard to find local farms, depending on where you live. I am proposing to increase the amount of local foods grown without any harmful chemicals or hormones in big supermarkets such as Walmart or Costco. But the only way this can happen is with the help of you. If you are reading this and came to the realization that our current food system is unhealthy and needs to be changed, then please sign this petition. We may seen insignificant, but when we come together, we can do great things
