while we do love the national touring acts, local bands entertain us just as much. this is long over due for ACL.

As an Austin musician, I want some kind of Austin representation at ACL. Importing all these artists from other cities doesn’t give any credit to those of us doing it here everyday.

I'm sure local bands will show up and play on time. Unlike other performers who can't be bothered to take the stage or leave their hotel on time.

It is sad that a festival in Austin, with *our* city in the name doesn’t have local representation.
We need to let the world know there is amazing music in this city. Whether a store are stage or whatever solution works, we need to be a part of this festival.

Austin needs a stage for local talent only. The music Fest's just dont appeal to me without local bands I know, fallow, and who's music I love.
