If Austin truly wants to promote themselves as the "music capital of the world" they should take steps to actually promote the music made in this city before they lose what made Austin special. This is a start.

The reason i started my company was to foster our local community scene. Companies like C3 are ruinning the fabric of our culture by monopolizing the industry with non local lineups all over the city. They are a thorn in our culture because they keep small local artists from thiving on a more wide spread basis.
