This is a petition to mark poor decisions during the cuts made at Liverpool John Moores University. I am a Level 2 Fashion Communication student and my course has recently lost its only hands on tutor and course leader leaving us with little to no guidance or support for the remainder of our second year of study. We were told that there will be no replacement (temporary or full-time) in place until the beginning of our 3rd year. My fellow students and I are fighting for faster action to be taken to replace the lecturer we lost as we have paid £1612.50 for this semester alone in tuition fees, which will not be being spent on tuition for us. This issue strongly reflects the current education crisis and how university cuts are hugely impacting the degrees of many people.
