Lizzie McGuire is such a popular show. It has been the highest rated Disney Channel show to exist. Even though the series has now ended, it is still enjoyable and memorable. What way to bring back all the charm created by the cast and characters of the show Well, the release of the episodes of course. Something you can watch again and again and keep forever. In November of 2004 the first 22 episodes were released as Volume 1 of the Lizzie McGuire Box Set series. Most likely Disney has planned on releasing the series in 3 volumes. However, it has been rumored that if the first volume didn\'t do well enough, that the other volumes may not be released. I am not for sure how well the first volume did, but accordding to Amazon.com, it didn\'t do very well. Also, I believe the fact that there was no advertising for the set has somewhat resulted in poor sales. With the coming of the Lizzie McGuire spinoff known as Stevie Sanchez, it has been said that if the series gets picked up then it will begin airing in September 2005. Surely the other Lizzie volumes would be released before the airing of Stevie, but none of this is for sure. If you are a hardcore Lizzie McGuire fan and want to help in the effort to make for sure that Disney does release all volumes of the box sets, then please sign this petition by Saturday, October 1, 2005. If the petition is long enough I will mail this to the Disney Channel President after that date.
