We, the residents of the Live Oak Community, Deltona Florida, do declare that the charges for sewage on water used for external irrigation, are unfair and represents a form of usury. As such, we do, hereby, request of the City Of Deltona and Deltona Water, that one or more of the following three (1-3) remedies be affected immediately, but not later than 60 days of this request: 1. That the residents of Live Oak be provided with effluent (reclaimed) water for the purpose of external irrigation. 2. That the residents of Live Oak be given a separate, second meter for the sole purpose of external irrigation, with no sewage charges applicable. 3. That the residents of Live Oak be given a price adjustment for sewage to reduce the charge by no less than 50% for expected external irrigation usage. In addition: 4. The residents of Live Oak also request that we be given a refund of the estimated sewage charges that have already been paid and will continue to be paid assigned to water used for irrigation, until a remedy is met. 5. In response to the recent City MCL violation, that the residents of Live Oak be given IMMEDIATELY a filter specific to TTHM until the water levels of our area are within FDEP standards (which is projected to take 18 months.
