This is my second time on this petition. I now have a 2017 CX-9 Signature. I could really use real time traffic. Also have a 2015 Mazda. Same story. GPS is pretty much useless without traffic.

more than simply deceioving the client, the unit is preprogrammed (light shade of grey), my CX9/2013 had it Mazda N1(TomTom), surely it doesn't take 2-3 years to satisfy curent and future owners of otherwise fairly perfect automobiles

It is unacceptable that this car does not have real live traffic data. It was sold to me as having it. Not only by salesman, but in the BROCHURE. Mazda, if you want to stay afloat and prevent all your potential buyers from going elsewhere, make this right. Why don't you guys just add Android Auto and solve two problems at once. Get on it!

Sales person spent 30+ minutes touting how great the traffic feature was in the 2016.5 CX5, after delivery and a few calls to Mazda I find out this feature is not available. I owned a 2014 CX5 that had this feature so the newer Nav, in my opinion is inferior to what I was replacing. Not what I expected from Mazda.

Hard to believe a company would willfully alienate most of it's most likely future car buyers. I love my Mazda 3 and my wife loves it so much she wanted to trade in her Honda CRV for a Mazda CX5. Well that's not going to happen after learning that Mazda has lied to all the 2016 buyers. The irony is that I decided not to buy a VW because of their dishonesty and now this!

Nothing is more irritating than to be told that a car you spend a lot of money on has a feature available when it actually doesn't. Even worse when the system shows the feature dithered out making it appear that is available when it isn't. Seems to me that a class action lawsuit would be the best way to remedy this unless Mazda makes a change they can expect to spend a lot more money in legal costs....and they will lose...and they will have to fix the issue. The navigation system is designed to overlay LIVE traffic. Open up that feature or face a lawsuit.

Live updates should be available, its the reason to have a sat. nav.!

Ridiculous situation prevails. I have just bought my second Mazda 6 and on both of them, the sat nab has had "issues" on my 2014 Sport Nav (Yes I'm in the U.K.) the Tomtom integration was shockingly bad and expensive to subscribe to traffic so after the first year was never used in favour of dash mounted IOS Tomtom which I agree as being "insanely accurate" on my 2016 SE-L, the overall Sat Nav and media / entertainment system is streets ahead of the 2014/15 models but the lack of live traffic data renders it useless again resulting in me re-mounting mi iPhone and sticking with Tomtom. All this despite all the sales literature and all the documentation with the car and still online at Mazda's website indicating live subscription services are available. Great car, shocking service!!
