Live Stream All Gloucester Township Board of Education Meetings

I'm a disabled Mom with 3 boys. One is Autistic the other Global Delays. Making it to meetings with them and staying to participate the way I would like to isn't always possible.

my 4 kids are always on the go i can log in anywhere i am dance class football softball and watch with technology today. I want to be part of the decision process and want to know what is good and bad for our schools i pay enough to be entitled to meetings or minutes recorded. frankly i am appaled at some of the negative things i have been hearing and not only that i despise the lunch program. Also we need more assistance kindness and tolerance for our children with special needs.

I'm unable to make it to many of the meetings due to my children. However I want to know what's going on.

Please let us have access. Not only would you be allowing but providing the privilege and equal opportunity to all the township residence's in supporting our beloved community.

I don't know why everyone would not want to sign this petition. Over 50 Districts in NJ Livestream their BOE Meetings.It will allow parents,at their convience, to see what decisions are being made that affect all our children. Many BOE Presidents have been quoted as saying it encourages transparency and accountability between the board and the community.You won't have to rely on someone else interpretation of what was decided. I have read many pros on Livestreaming and no cons. This is a step towards forward thinking . The GTBOE should allow Livestream as it is an excellant tool.

GTBOE is negligent in their duty to be as open and transparent as possible. This is disgusting that a taxpayer must use a petition to persuade our elected officials to do the right thing. Board president Ellen Reese should be ashamed of herself for ignoring the will of the people.

We need to be informed. There's no reason not to do it in 2016!!

In each of my roles as a parent, a resident and a current member of the GT BOE, I support the live streaming and/or recording and posting of BOE meetings. Our Council does it, as do other NJ school districts like Cherry Hill, and our residents deserve the same. As a few other residents have attempted at BOE meetings, sadly unsuccessfully thus far, thank you for taking the initiative to get this done, Ms. Belcher.

I want streaming of school board meetings in Gloucester Township. How about doing the same for board meetings?

We have been asking for this for 3 years. The board president promised us transparency a year ago. If she was sincere, this wouldn't be necessary.

Live stream means more parents can have access & get involved, and that's a GOOD THING!!!

As a GT school board member I am totally behind this.

Not all parents can make meetings due to scheduling conflicts; sports, work, etc.; it will make it easier for parents to still be involved in their students education.
