Each year, approximately 5,000 people under the age of 21 die as a result of underage drinking. More than one-third of youth under the age of 21 killed in alcohol-related fatalities, die during the months of April, May and June which is prom and graduation season. Please don’t let yourself get too caught up in the moment and to always have this question in the back of your mind, “Is drinking this alcohol or using this drug worth risking your future?” The answer should always be NO. I am asking you to take my pledge and to live Above the Influence NOT Under the Influence of drugs and alcohol this prom and graduation season. You not only could be saving your life, but the lives of others.
