having had the privilege of working stage crew duties for many years and bands, when asked for a band i most enjoyed working around, without hesitation, Little Feat! And any time that Little Feat were to touring in a 400+ mile radius, i chased the 'Call For...' list. Being this old (calendar-wise), the 1st time they were a quartet and 2nd on the bill with Captain Beefheart & the Magic Band and Roy Estrada(Mothers of.....) was playing bass. My 4th of July prequel begins with Little Feat's "Waiting for Columbus" on 'the jukebox' in memory of Lowell George (6/29/79.

Little Feat is one of the greatest, most unique, Rock and Roll bands in history. It is embarrassing that the Cleveland RnR HoF powers that be, have demonstrated such ignorance. Lowell George should be in as well. Pity the fools. LoveLove. Peace.

The R&R HoF caters to commercially "successful" acts when it should consider quality musicianship & innovative songwriting, peer influence & electric live performance. Little Feat checks all the boxes....

The intro during the Concert for George said it all. The biggest little band in the world. As one who has been privileged to meet several of the members during the 1990s, I can add that they are fine human beings as well, generous to aspiring musicians. They are also musicians' musicians as evidenced by those who jumped at the opportunity to "Join the band" on a recent CD.
