Long overdue. Lowell George died at 34 a block from where I work today in Arlington, VA. His legacy is in today's music, 45 years later. Make this happen.

Little Feat - way ahead of most bands that have been inducted ahead of them. The passing of time only serves to confirm that Little Feat had it all and left most of their peers in the shade.

Little Feat was formed in 1969. They are musicians for musicians. They sound like themselves with a "shuffle" few can match. If a cover band is asked if they do any Little Feat, they will answer, "Never heard of them" or "I wish we could!" They have introduced many Artists to the world. The band was able to survive the death of their founder, Lowell George. Lowell played with Frank Zappa, who convinced him to form a band. They cannot be described as to one style. They can change styes within a song. Little Feat changes the lead musician constantly within a song. Something few others could master. They completely have earned the honor to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

A collection of ultra talented musicians whose contributions to rock and roll are overlooked simply because of limited financial success. What a narrow minded excuse for omission.
