Little Feat are one of the most celebrated bands of the 70's, their influence on music from around the world should not be underestimated.
Everyone from Jimmy Page to Mick Jagger, and countless other Artists and Songwriters, have been touched by this incredible band. The blending of blues, with a tinge of country, Funk, and other musical styles, is what makes them so unique in the world of music.
Lowell George was a superb writer, and guitar player, along with keyboardist Bill Payne, Drummer Ritchie Haywood, second guitarist Paul Barre, Conga player Sam Clayton, and Bassist Kenny Gradney.
Little Feat are one of those rare breed of bands, where their music still holds up to this day, and sounds amazing, as much as I first heard them over 30 years ago.
I hope they get inducted in the Hall Of Fame in the future, as it has been a long time coming, so that we can right this wrong.
