Lost count how many times and places I have seen Little Feat. The best though was in NOLA, they were playing an EMC conference with Bruce Hornsby. In the middle of the piano intro trading licks with Bill Payne, Bruce said it really needed someone to play Lowell's slide part and welcomed Bonnie Raitt to the stage. Later that night in lobby bar of the Royal Sonesta where I was staying, I was watching a jazz trio where a young guy was playing string bass and I said "that kid is great!" Over my shoulder I heard, "he sure is!" I looked up and it was Kenny, and behind him was Bonnie and some of the rest of the bands and entourage, who were staying there as well. Awesome how they can appreciate others' musicianship, a key part of their endurance and ability to grow through the years. My favorite band.

All I can say is wow! As Martin stated, the band pulled off so many different sounds and still always remained Little Feat, that's a feat in it's self.
They are true musicians and have stood the test of time. Open the doors and Let It Roll!

I have been rocking with the FEAT since i heard them AFN back in 1969.It took untill 1970 for there first album to be released here[uk].should not have to be doing a petition for this.should have been honoured years ago.....

I have loved and admired the magical wizardry of ~ in all the many permutations ~ this band called Little Feat has been through the years :-)
They should no longer be 'Under the Radar'. Their contribution to excellence in syncopated grooves should be acknowledged !

even with the passing of Lowell George this band continues to produce music, make new fans and influence other music. Little Feat deserve to to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
