A Group dedicated to the fight against the madness that is going on at BBC Radio Leeds, and to try and create a movement of like minded people to make a stand and force the powers that be at Radio Leeds to actually take the time to listen to the genuine concerns of ordinary people. Radio Leeds was once a loved member of the family, when ever we had problems in our lives we could tune into our favourite presenter and we would no we could rely on them to cheer us up, and also the other loyal listeners would contact the show to offer there thoughts and often support, and equally it was true if we had good news to share, which helped in turn cheer everyone up, in conclusion, it was a station dedicated to its listeners. Now what do we have.....in contrast, a cold, insular, distant, devoid of any character station that has very little connection with its listeners, poor choice of inappropriate presenters, an atmosphere of doom and gloom amongst the remaining presenters, looking over there shoulders to see where the axe will fall next. This petition is calling for the re instatement of our loved presenters, the removal of the people who have made the poor decisions (Rozina Breen managing editor), that has reduced the station to a shadow of its former self. If you feel strongly about this then please put your name to the petition otherwise we may loose the station as we new it forever.
