Sad that she (and her publisher) chose to embellish a story. Turns out the girl lived at Kasaba Bay. She could have simply told the truth and it would have been an even better story. Zambians would have bought it. Now, we will just recieve Gap students with lots of skepticism. Thinking what lies they will tell when they grow up.

People should not be allowed to lie about other people's country's, homes, lives etc. I've lived in Zambia my whole life, never have i ever been treated with a lions tooth for an illness.

In this day and age , can anyone who claims to be exposed and mature enough write so many lies about country and expect to citizens to be quiet about it. We do not live in an era of stone age . We are in high-tech and the 21st century where information moves faster. Information can be easily verified. therefore , there is not room for lies. Shame on this poor girl.
