If the book is full of fake accounts about a country and it's people it should be advertised as fiction.

Louise Linton needs to make a public and sincere apology to all the citizens of Zambia and banned from entering this country..ever.

The publisher must be sued for publishing racist maternal.

I object most strongly to Louise reading Wilbur Smith novels of the Courtney ' s in Africa and remixing them into some warped bio of modern day Zambia. This is a prime example of how little education + limited imagination + opportunity = danger! Shame on you Louise - oh sorry, Ru-eese!

Louise Linton should have classified her as a work of fiction but even fiction if it mentions places that actually exist must also be written close to facts. For example I can't write a fictional story based in Zambia and include polar bears and tigers in the story. It is a shame that The Telegraph could not see through the veil of lies and went ahead to publish the excerpts. This could be proof of how little the West cares about what happens in Africa. Linton could have tried to feed on this naivety to make quick bucks.

She needs to retract the lies

Ms Linton's book is fictitious and does not represent Zambians genuinely. This book should not be supported for it is a misrepresentation of a peaceful people who have never had war of any kind in our 50 plus years of existence.

Such lies cause great damage to the tourism industry and people's livelihood. Africa has enough bad press. Don't add salt to an open sore!

I am a proud Zambian and none of the nonsense in that trash book is true but an figment of Louise's imagination. If she does not repent of such lies Louise's end shall be as per Revelation 21:8 ,she should read it for herself, shame on you!!!

There is a mix up of facts which does not reflect zambia

Please end the spread of stupidity and ignorance on a global scale. As a Zambian who's nations reputation has been tarnished by this publication, i hope this petition will bring change. Thank you
