We are frustrated by the lack of coordination in transport facilities around Fureidis junction. It is the main stop for the fast bus to and from Jerusalem as well as Tel Aviv. However there is no local bus service from Zichron to bring commuters into the town on whose outskirts the stop is positioned. Nor is there a safe place to park a vehicle as an alternative. Inside Zichron Egged run local buses that go round Zichron but do not include Fureidis on their run. Ideally what is needed to help commuters is a shuttle service that enables commuters to get in and out of the 5 towns area but particularly Zichron to utilise the jerusalem and Tel Aviv bus routes run by Egged. In addition it would be a great help to have a manned car park at the junction. The undersigned wish the council and the Mayor to look into options to improve the transport links as described.
