Seriously??!!!! They get that together all freaking year. The book is amazing and you expect the same quality in 200 hours??!!!!! That's insane!!!!!!!! The book is amazing and the kids who want to put in the time will take the class and its obviously well worth it. The school profits off it , it won't as much if it's absolute piece of crap of only pictures and name titles

Basically, the district isn't completely getting rid of the book itself, only 800 of the 1000 hours we spend on it. we would be unable to create sports page, or student life pages, since it would be after school and we cannot interview others. This decision however provides the district no monetary gain.

I know I don’t go to this school, but if this happens now, it will probably be the same when I go there next year.

I do not go to Central but the idea of any student not getting a year book seems completely ridiculous to me and to many others.

I was in this class for 3 years and was editor my senior year. I learned truly valuable skills from this class related to teamwork, time management, pagemaking, writing, leadership, deadline compliance, hard work, and dedication. I could continue if necessary. Turning this truly educational class into a club would be a disservice to the students in terms of educational opportunities and memories documented for a lifetime.
