Please sign this petition if you are not in favor of the demolition of the Lincoln playground! It will be replaced with a 4 story building, alley to alley, other than the small play area in the front. This structure is going up in a neighborhood that is already congested and still has the Children's Memorial development to add to the density and traffic. The school will grow from the capacity of 670 to 1297. The Alderman, Michelle Smith, approved this without any public input, and there are many other ways to solve Lincoln's overcrowding without losing our valuable playground forever.
