Limit Congressional Terms and Benefits

All elected officials in state and federal office need to be limited to the same two consecutive terms as the President of the United States. Some of the elected congress members have more influence than the Commander in Chief. When we limit their terms they will be forced to work in a pro-American manner rather than the greed, corrupt political mess that is destroying our once great nation. They will understand that before stepping into office, they will be back on Main Street no longer than two terms. This will entice legitimate legislation be passed with fiscal responsibility rather than "Pork Barrel" funds buried in each bill to further concrete their future political career. Furthermore, all elected officials should receive no more Pension or health-care benefits than any other state or federal worker. They are not fully vested until after 7 years of service. They cannot receive pension benefits until proper age (55) and completed years (20) of service in public office. Their health-benefits should not exceed their active duty in office.
