We, the undersigned, request that a new NOISE-LIMIT POLICY be adopted by Madison Public Libraries with shared child/adult spaces. When library patrons---including children, their parents, and teenagers--are disturbing other library patrons we request that LIBRARY WORKERS INTERVENE with loud library patrons by asking/expecting them to, "Please, hold the noise down." We request that patrons demonstrating prolonged crying, yelling, laughing, singing or loud speaking be asked/expected to leave the library.
