There are only 3 exits out of Turtle Rock with one high school and a university sharing these exits. The traffic is unbearable as is.

we have kids who attend University High School and Rancho San Joaquin Middle School, so this traffic affects us greatly!

The proposed traffic light at Concordia and Ridgeline will create a huge backlog of people turning left from University Drive onto Ridgeline. Ridgeline, Turtlerock Drive and Shady Canyon Drive are no longer used primarily for Turtlerock, Concordia and Shady Canyon residents. These streets are heavily used short-cuts to Newport Beach and since we can't stop that activity, we have to prevent another fiasco!

Commuting no longer is faster than walking, but Irvine's master plan sucks at building communties that one can walk to and from. Irvine is the worst "planned" city.

the traffic study needs to be redone NOT during spring break. traffic during spring break is like a sunday compared to a normal day.

I am not against Concordia's plan but the traffic plan needs to be addressed. A light at Concordia on Ridgeline is not acceptable. The fact that the annual traffic study was done on Spring Break makes the data useless as it will not be representative of what the traffic issues are in the Turtle Rock neighborhood, particularly on Ridgeline. This traffic study must be repeated or it should not be relied upon in any decision making about this issue.

I was nearly killed by a person coming out into traffic and broadsiding my suv and rolling it over - - Why not create an entrance to the campus off University ?

Too big for the site, which is why it was originally zoned for ia limited size. Traffic on the East side of Turtle Rock is progressively getting worse with more traffic driving through the community despite the fact that no additional housing has.been added in several years. Do not ruin a jewel of a community for the residents who actually live here. Concordia is a fine institution, but if it wants to grow beyond its zoned size it should move to a larger zoned area, not damage the existing one.

The traffic from Ridgeline to Jeffery and back is busy during the school times and takes up to 10 minutes to merge from Concordia to Ridgeline.

Today the City of Irvine Traffic Engineer confirmed that "unfortunately" the annual monitoring of traffic at Ridgeline and the Concordia East exit was conducted during Concordia's spring break. Please reach out to all of your neighbors to attend and speak up at the April 25th City Council meeting and demand accurate data and that the city adddress the traffic issues before approving more construction.

I am very much against this expansion. Traffic in Turtle Rock is bad enough right now. And with our popular Turtle Rock Elementary School, Bonita Canyon School, and University High School students coming and going, the traffic is hard enough to maneuver. This expansion would make our village a traffic nightmare. I've lived in Turtle Rock since 1975 and have seen its growth add more cars, noise, congestion, pollution, and danger for those needing a hasty exit in times of emergency. During the 1993 Laguna Beach/Turtle Rock fire, all TR residents were evacuated and it was very difficult. There are two ways to realistically evacuate residents today just like in 1973, and we have many more residents now. Bonita Canyon Road is not a practical exit for many of us and that exit would have Turtle Ridge and Shady Canyon residents trying to "get out." Please do not allow this expansion.

The city has not addressed the info structure to support the additional traffic that will be. Also quality of life will be greatly hindered I believe with all the noise and

There is NO PLAN here while bringing 3,000 or whatever the REAL number is. It is just incredible and very difficult for all concerned. We live in Turtle Rock and Ridgeline is really our main way in and out, without going all the way around. Concordia needs to talk to how Irvine Meadows did it and also look at alternative in and out options. Ridgeline is not it. Thank you.

Continued expansion in this community without a workable traffic plan is a recipe for disaster. Congestion will be untenable for everyone.
