The stop light is too near to another stop light which in the intersection of University & Ridgeline Drive. I strongly opposed it.

The entry to Concordia from Ridgeline was supposed to be used only by the homeowners and not the students. There is an alternative entrance for students. A traffic light on Ridgeline will be a major impact to the residents that live further uphill.

The EIR ignores the impact to all the traffic passing thru this area and going to other locations further up Ridgeline, University High, the UCI campus, Shady Canyon Turtle Ridge, etc.

delete The Homeowners Association and Board of Directors of Turtle Rock Pointe are opposed to the addition of a traffic signal on Ridgeline Drive at Concordia. With only 12 car lengths between that intersection and University Drive, it would be an operational impossibility.

Traffic is horrible in Irvine and this expansion will just add to the already congested streets.

This light will be nothing but a traffic nightmare. The number of cars affected would block the flow from Jeffrey up the hill onto Ridgeline.

The plan calls for a "warning system" which doesn't help in evacuation.

What do the residence of Turtle Rock do during an emergency evacuation, similar to the fires in the 90's. Wait for the school evacuate first and the uphill residents second? Do you have an emergency plan. If you do, what is the plan?

Try opening Shady Canyon Drive to all traffic. I know it is private, however you have a path to take the drive public. As a 40 year resident of Irvine, I have never seen a private institution take such steps to force (Turtle Rock) or any residents to suffer major traffic problems to please an out of hand self-serving private interest expansion. The City is using their usual "fire, aim" approach to a major traffic problem. I urge you to not approve this Concordia fantasy.
