I am paying alimony to my ex-narc because he lived off me our whole marriage, got me to sign divorce papers under duress that said I would pay him and convinced the courts I did it willingly. Even though he cheated and left me, left me a shell of a person I have to pay him. So much is lacking with awareness of narc abuse - good luck passing this!

I have been a victim of narcissistic abuse. He took everything from me. It shouldn't be allowed! We have a child.

I was with someone for 7.5-8 years and didn't know what was going on til the last 2 when I did so much research to figure out he is a narcissist and has been lying and deceiving me and everyone he knows his entire life. He's a pathological liar, con artist, fraud, thief, master manipulator, abuser and so much more. There needs to be a law and more help for people who are victims of this. It's so dangerous and damaging. There were a few times I wanted to kill myself because of what he was doing to me. No one should ever have to go though this emotional, mental and verbal abuse.

This should be a punishable crime. No one should have the right to be inhumane.

I suffered physically, emotionally, and financially from narcissistic abuse. There is no remorse or accountability. Change needs to happen. People are dying and suffering daily. There needs to be consequences for this cruel behavior as soon as possible.

I have suffered in silence until I realized I was not alone!!! This kind of abuse stays with you forever. And now it's moved from me to my children.

Less emotional approach would be helpful. "Like they never mattered" they intentionally cause pain then leave the victim to suffer in multiple ways; financially, physically, mentally, socially, etc. Sometimes this suffering leads to suicide or mental breakdowns. They should be charged for the trauma regardless of financial effects. They should be charged with assault.

The healthcare system doesn't consider this a crime. The justice system hasn't inacted this in state or government. The laws need to change in this respect.

I was married to an abusive narcissistic man for many years... and still after divorced he still continues to abuse and nothing ever is done about!!! Laws need to be made to protect woman and men from this kind of abuse

The emotional pain is devastating, the financial ruin takes years to undo. The mental abuse takes years of therapy to heal from. Two years after leaving my narcissist husband I am still recovering. I lost my home, my career (he arranged to have me fired) and my confidence.

Plrase dont desert us also. We’re crippled emotionally and unable to make sound decisions, but the courts have no other interest than getting it resolved. Irregardless of our suicidal intent.

Domestic violence advocates in Ohio have a victim's of violent crimes support system that is close to this but based on domestic violence I think this could be a real step forward towards justice avainst such crimes and acts of cruelty

Deliberate deception, targeting & manipulation of empathic people who, b/c of their giving nature give everything of themselves to the narc until there's nothing left before being discarded. Criminal.

I support this fight to end this vicious cycle of abuse. It's too easy for them to get away with it right now.
