I am a target of abuse. My life was almost destroyed because of my ex. I have charges on my record for things he did to me. He should be the one with these charges and should be in jail for a while. I was arrested despite being covered in bruises. I was arrested for violating a protective order when he was the one who showed up at my home. I am now fighting another dv charge because he is claiming I threw a shoe at the wall creating a hole but the thing is I wasn't even there. How does that work? I don't know but its my real life. I could lose custody of my kids and my freedom due to this. Please help me. I will sign any petition if it means it is one step closer to getting him away from my family and myself

I was driven to a suicide attempt by my ex who was a covert narcissist, and later I unmasked her when catching her in a lie, ended the relationship, and she filed a false domestic violence report against me, costing me thousands of dollars.

We need to rein in and deter these destroyers of lives. The fall out from a relationship with these disingenuous people last a lifetime.

Narcissistic persons have ripped my life apart and broke my spirit. It is a deliberate criminal act like Domestic Violence.

I am a victim of covert narcissism presently divorcing. I am loosing my house and half my life savings. At 55 years old, retirement went from my life dream to an impossibility.

When the authorities refuse to come and be present, so you can gather your belongings safely, because the "accused" has not posed any immediate physical threat or harm, but says to call back IF that does happen. Does not matter if accuser has a history of domestic violence. Does not matter that accuser has inflicted financial damage to prevent victim from securing new housing. Does not matter that victim had been stalked thru illegal cell phone spyware for over a month by the accused, damaging personal property of victim in doing so. These are only some the real life scenarios that I lived thru. I did receive an order of protection. But I never got my $1000 back or my remaining personal property, because the narc would conveniently not be home, even though he had agreed to do so, prior. I DID have police present at those times but was told that I was better off going to court to get my property at that point. These monsters are incredibly amazing actors and can fool authorities, judges, lawyers. I've seen this as well. It's a helpless and defeating feeling. Narcissistic abuse is a crime and needs to be recognized as physical abuse and have the same consequences for the abuser, because it's equally as crippling and cruel to victims. The damage goes deep on so many levels. There is no doubt that this should be labeled a crime.

You can if Money is an issue there are many places that work on sliding scale. You can also speak with the national phone and chat line on domestic abuse. They were instrumental in getting me and my daughter out of our situation. You do not need to go to a shelter if you do not want to use their services. For counseling you can also contact Catholic Charities if they do not know of this kind of abuse do not go to them. Also EFT is used with Veterans of wars for CPTSD it can be a great tool in helping to heal. I hope this helps.
