Yes, Here is the time, so long ego we would need it, since law not protecting women unless she was hit. But emotional, verbal abuse, manipulation, abuse leave much longer devastating effect on the victim!

I am a Victim, trying to be a Survivor of 6 long agonizing years of Narcissistic Abuse! This type of Abuse needs to be made a punishable Crime! These sick Monsters destroy lives and walk away with nothing but a smile on their faces knowing what they did to you, & enjoy the fact that they made themselves feel a little happiness at the time doing it! It is plain Mental Illness inflicted on someone else that causes so much damage to the unsuspecting Victim that it needs to become Law to have the Perpertrators pay for the Emotional Abusuve Crimes they commit!

People that commit these heinous deeds to someone they claimed to love are called “MONSTERS”. A “MONSTER” is a callous entity that causes another pain and suffering without remorse; simply to gain the instant gratification it desires at that moment. They lack “empathy” and “remorse” – thus they can do “A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G” to you, and not feel bad about it. This is called: “NARCISSISTIC PATHOLOGICAL DISORDER” (NPD). Narcissistic Pathological Disorder (NPD): is a long-term pattern of abnormal behavior characterized by exaggerated feelings of self-importance, an excessive need for admiration, and a lack of understanding for others’ feelings. They often take advantage of the people around them. Whenever Domestic Abuse is mentioned, immediately a woman is thought of. When women discuss how a man has hurt them, everyone says they’re being emotional. When men discuss how a woman has hurt them, those same people view him as crazy, obsessed, and it’s totally, socially, unacceptable! This thinking is unacceptable. Men have feelings too. They have been conditioned not to show it out of fear of being seen as less of a man. Harboring those resentments keeps them sick. This is why women get killed when they attempt leave their significant others. Men don’t know how to process their emotions which causes them to SNAP; which can lead to murder (legal terms: “Crimes of Passion”). If murder is not being considered, suicide is being contemplated. In 1864 New York established a law called “Alienation of Affection”. This infidelity law is where men seeking revenge via legal proceedings, can sue another man who "stole" the affections of his wife. Today, if a woman told an interested party she’s married, the man would say “So what? …and what’s that got to do with him?” Infidelity has been against the law for centuries. It’s now time to exact punishment for the crime – and make other people respect marriage. How dangerous is infidelity? One act of infidelity can dest

I am singing this petition for I too am a victim of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. and it would be great that by law these individuals will be brought to justice and are punished for their hateful, cruel, obscene and abnormal behavior. I also believe that the statues of limitations for NPD abuse should be the same as a person of sexual assault/rape as well as a nationwide law.

I am singing because of my personal experience and to stand for other victims of psychological violence. I’ve been a victim since 2003, with every avenue of such abuse at the hands of my ex husband. Coercive control through financial abuse, isolation from friends and family, gaslighting and crazy making, stalking, smear campaign including by legal system, death threats. By the time of open conflict- socially isolated and otherwise compromised with no resources to escape, especially with the child (from my previous marriage) He nearly killed me, I barely survived the torment, suffered PTSD and was destroyed financially. By demanding to get a divorce - only led to threats and smear campaign, along with financial sabotage by blocking me from any financial resources within a family and taking away my vehicle (which was a necessity for suburban/rural area where we lived) Under death threats and nowhere to escape, I tried to complaint to Police and to his employer, but my ex already turned tables around by presenting himself as a victim and no one would believe me. Moreover, in both cases they informed him on my attempts to complaint, with the most devastating consequences you can imagine. After that he filed for divorce on his own, by falsely accusing me of “cruelty of treatment and excessively vicious conduct”, and further was deliberately postponing divorce court as far as he could, for over two years, until his another request for postponement was denied. With no financial resources I couldn’t get any legal representation for divorce process, while he lawyered up with top attorney and I was harassed through entire process. Moreover, I even could not get any legal separation, forced to leave under same roof with my perpetrator, by living in the spare room - similar to a war prisoner- isolated, with minimum communications, intimidated, abused and tortured, and deprived of basics, including access to healthcare (he was withholding health insurance from my use ev

This is such an important cause. These men are literally destroying families. Spreading diseases to their wives. And harming their children for a lifetime. We need a law to protect the innocent from these monster narcs who choose to damage those that love them! Narcissism is a choice, not a mental illness.

There is a serious disconnect between law enforcement and recognition of NPD. And as a result of the ignorance and inexperience of police, those with NPD are easily able to manipulate and deceive police into becoming tools of abuse. In my case my father managed to deceive police into thinking I had mental health issues and that I was the abuser. Police had no clue that my dad was putting on a performance and playing the victim. As a result of his lies I got arrested and ended up homeless while I have a disability.
