I am currently navigating the strength and legal pitfalls it takes to free myself.from my narc ... I was arrested because all I could think to the officers was my code saying when I was in trouble... talk to the dog....fast forward one year later therapy and healing be damned he uses my jailing to try and keep me trapped I filed for an order of protection anyway and left state and could face jail for violating a NNC I left peacefully begging I am currently afraid none of that will matter because he is a skilled sociopath last night I and my family recieved emails threatening if I did not drop request for protection he would see me jailed ... these people are terrorists to the nth degree master manipulators I am a good professional woman destroyed but trying to heal this cycle of abuse needs protection the people who report their abusers are going to seem crazed but they are just beaten mentally ... and need protection

I pray to god that this law passes. 9 years of narc abuse, emotional distress, loss of wages due to this. Alimony should be served to all, including the that were not married. These people are true monsters that take your life away from you. No one understands unless they have been through this terrible emotional abuse.

Plus the financial aspects of them not being responsible.. they should fall under habitual violators as they do this to multiple people

Yes!!! Narcissistic abuse caus s permanent brain damage that it takes years to adjust to. Therapy is needed weekly and costs a lot of money. That most if don't have because common narcissistic behavior, is to make sure us victims have nothing. Or next to nothing. They should have to help pay for the affects of their behavior. Especially since they manipulate so well, that they are rarely held accountable for their behavior.

This needs to happen. My soon to be x is torturing me right now, because I want a divorce. His objective is to ruin me, because I will no longer be his supply.

This is not an ordinary phenomenon. There needs to be serious and conscious effort to help victims turn survivors; and mandatory justice and/or punishment for emotional abusers and vampires!!

From the lies, betrayal, deceipt, gaslighting, manipulation, emorional rape and psychological and physical abuse unsuspecting lives of trusting, good hearted, loving people are and have been destroyed leaving mere shells of who they once were. The courts need to protect us and it must stop. The cycle must stop.

My ex husband had me convinced I was losing my mind. He hid things in the house, used gaslighting, stole money from our investnents, alienates and emotionally abuses our 4 children every day. I dont know how he still has any custody. He slashed my tires twice in one week, vandalized my home (20k worth), stalks the childrn and me. Cost me a job at apreschool because the teachers and parents were afraid he would try to come after me and someone else might also get hurt. The lust goes on and on...

As a survivor of a five year narcissistic husband, I can absolutely this would be such a help for so many women! If this could help just ONE woman in a similar situation it would have done enough! #help

I am a survivor of narcissistic abuse. I am divorced and have been awarded alimony( my abuser has sent me none of that money to date) and 50% of his AirForce retirement pay. I want this law to be instated because the psychological damage that a marriage of 31 years to a person of this nature can never be totally healed. My daughters and I will forever have the scars he left on us. No amount of money he would pay me can make him properly accountable.
