I loved my boyfriend when he asked me to marry him and take care of a church and be with a real church family and finally all my dreams came true I was marrying a man of God. 36 days after our marriage came the first lie, from then on trauma, drama, unwanted sex and drugs, then the affairs. He moves a stripper into his dad's house, I forgive him after he gets bored with the 28 yr. old in only two months and calls me his wife to remove her. It went on like this for 4.75 years and I've had to quit jobs, lose most of my expensive material possessions and contemplated both murder and suicide. I'm still homeless after leaving my apartments, friends, etc., just to get away for fear I'd end up in jail because this constant yo-yo emotional ride would drive me to violence on this man who I had planned to grow old and die beside. I will never be the same and the smear campaigns omg don't even get me started on these. I wish I would have never met this person. Then you find out he was lying the entire time so you feel stupid and worthless. He had many affairs making me think I was crazy when I could tell he'd been with other females yet deny and call me crazy. PLEASE WE NEED THESE LAWS. PLEASE SIGN. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I just realized last weekend, after talking extensively about my former NPD partner for the first time, how much I am broken and suffering from our relationship of only a year and a half. I am traumatized! I almost lost my job, am financially unstable, alienated my children (who hated him from the beginning). My friend said that she had never seen someone change so much. He insulted me, belittled me, controlled my finances and my social life. I crashed my car three times. He controlled me with drugs and promises of things he would do for me. He was obsessed with having sex with other people ("If you don't want to fool around, I'll find someone who will"). He hacked my gmail account, put a GPS tracker on my car, and walked into my apartment drunk and uninvited only to call me a "bitch," a "dick," and tell me what a catch he is is and how he can get anyone (all the while there to win me back). And yet, everything in the relationship has always been my fault - all I do is "take" and everything is "me, me, me" he would say. I'm barely surviving, suicidal, and trying to repair my relationships with friends and family. And still, he's texting me on other numbers, having friends call and leave messages on his behalf (because he's the poor heartbroken "victim"). I feel unsafe, unstable, and every day is another effort to show up to work, appear "normal" and try to re-claim my life and self respect. It's awful!

Narcissism is the only disorder where it leaves the victim needing extreme treatment and PTSD. Thank you for doing this.

This bill is if vital importance. These predators are online searching for victims and grooming other victims. All while in relationship. This needs to stop!

These abusers should also be required to lay all court fees plus sanctions for the abusive litigation and risk jail time for ongoing non-compliance with court orders. The current system allows them to use the system as a weapon if they have the means.

Both my mom and my ex boyfriend of 3yrs. are narcs. I have since separated from my ex. Not with out 2orders of protection. Him stealing my cat. Breaking into my bedroom going through all my belongings. Harassing my new boyfriend. I mean the list goes on... I have since been ostracized by the trailer park I lived in due to him... And am now out of state and homeless trying to get back to AZ. In a home again. He has made a mess of things but I am very thankful to be away from him and free of his bonds. This bill needs to be passed.
