I wish I had been educated on the mentality of what a narcissist is. I suffered for four years after allowing a narcissist into my life. Through divine intervention and counseling, I am now an educated survivor of narcissistic abuse. Since I just recently cut ties with this person, and I'm no longer doing and giving all the things I was conned and bullied into doing for them, and I still have to deal with them on a daily basis, I have no idea if my safety is in jeopardy. It's quite unnerving.

Great. For those who said it won't happen or it'll take to long - I get it; but for people like her I would sign and advocate for such a thing. Look how long it took for Domestic Violence to be understood and accepted. Those Men/Women became protected. Truthfully, I think as a collective this would work. Since narcs watch this more than anything else, best not to let them know of your moves. Go, since It beats the blank they’ve served their victims. Truthfully, any minorty group’s only downfall is that they have no **collective repesented** protection; and if you don’t think it can't happen… Ask: Harvey Weinstein, Rapper P Diddy, Rev. Enforcement and accountability is one angle I support. I also support early diagnosis and involvement in family systems to prevent the hardwiring of narcissistic traits and traumatic behaviors.

It needs to be stopped before it gets so bad , the evils and mistakes of the past repeat themselves and children who once we're innocent as us SUFFER at the hands of mentally unstable animals like them .

I made a clear decision to sign this petition - as I definitely dealt with being abused from childhood (starting from an abusive father to dealing with weak bullies) into adulthood (coworkers) - because of how prevalent narcissism is becoming. Knowing that there are MANY (if not a WHOLE LOT MORE) victims of these ignorant wicked people breaks my heart. No one deserves to deal with any narcissists - whether they are parents, fake friends, "family" members, strangers, co-workers or managers, etc. IT NEEDS TO STOP NOW. It NEEDS TO BE ILLEGAL, period end of sentence. The crimes they've commit against the victims ARE WICKED AND ILLEGAL, PERIOD. The fact that us victims have to explain ourselves to validate our traumatic pain as if we aren't smart enough, valid, or deserving of protection is disgusting and foul. Society as a whole hates victims of abuse and has detrimentally failed in standing by the victim's side - which is THE TRUTH. How wicked of anyone justifying, GASLIGHTING, AND EXCUSING NARCISSISM - BECAUSE THEY ARE NARCISSISTIC + ABUSERS THEMSELVES or they hate themselves. I am willing to take it there by exposing their gross behavior + abuse tactics, holding abusers accountable, and standing against narcissists + narcissism in general. I am not afraid to call abuse out as it is - BLUNTLY - as I am NOT HERE TO SUGARCOAT THE TRUTH, TIPTOE AROUND BLATANT ABUSE TOWARDS VICTIMS, DISMISS/IGNORE THE ABUSE, OR POINT FINGERS AGAINST VICTIMS ( because SOCIETY IS TOO WEAK TO STOP ABUSERS IN THERE TRACKS - everyone is so concerned about the narcissist, but questions the victims as if they deserve to be punished. Society IS SO SLOW AND BACKWARDS). WHY PROTECT NARCISSISTS, WHO ARE CLEARLY WICKED AND WELL KNOWN ABUSERS, IF THEY DON'T LIKE YOU EITHER? They will use anyone/equip them to be their flying monkeys and do their dirty work. This is a massive problem with narcissists and empaths . Do we even know how many empathic people have committed suicide after being destroyed by these mentally sick individuals.. I myself tried to kill myself on a sports bike after my abuser continued to hurt me two years after I left and I had no way of proving the sexual abuse he put me through. Police said no witnesses no crime .

My grandson is severely brainwashed by his father. He is 10 years old and his father, my daughters ex husband bad mouth my daughter and confuses my grandson. This causes mental breakdowns and confusion. What can one do in this situation

The US desperately needs this!

It would be wonderful if police to be trained and what to look for and also if he could be generalized as grandparents commit his crimes as well. There could be people that specialize in this sort of thing that meat monthly with parents and children. It would be nice if there was some sort of provision that extended to 18 -21 year olds as they technically are adults there is less support for them and more obstacles for a targeted parent. This is a big danger zone as they can be extremely isolated, used the laws against any assistance, and the abuse carefully hidden.

I'm a survivor in the State of RI

My son and I, are surviving psychological, and emotional abuses at the hands of his mother/my ex. She claims D.A.R.V.O. and hides behind false claims of Domestic Violence against myself. I have CPTSD now and have lost several jobs, since I tried to get my son and I away. I have had murder attempts and arson against my person and property. The courts need to recognize both parents and genders, as their refusal to do so, only further traumatizes and aids in destroying the abused children/parent instead of "Best interest as they claim". We need a change now, for the people.

Any form of abuse is a crime and narcissistic abuse is, in fact, self-defined as a form of causing harm to others. Why this is not recognized already by the law is inexplicable. Abusers getting away with inflicting harm on others is not OK. This should be recognized in the law and punishable as the abuse that it is. Narcissists get away with causing emotional, psychological, financial, and relational damage to people. They walk around this earth free while leaving destruction in their wake and their victims are in bondage to them and their abuse. They get away with this because the law allows them to. The law turns a blind eye and therefore encourages the narcissist to continue. Why would they stop when there are no consequences? Narcisistic abusers are enabled by the law to get-off on hurting people. That is not OK. What narcissists do to their victims is not OK. We need awareness for this form of abuse and we need laws to protect victims and prevent further victimization from occurring. Thank you.
