I’m leaving a relationship like this and am in the divorce process and really being abused now

The fact that I’m so traumatized as a result of the situation I was in I can’t even formulate a comment here is going to have to be statement enough.

For the little girl born with a job which is impossible, no more little people born with the endless, thankless hell of Narcissistic parents. You deserved better.

I've survived a malignant narcissistic mother who has never stopped and I'm 47, got out of the town she's in last year....

I am a 49 yr old Survivor of horrific Narcissistic abuse since I was born (sexual/by my biological father, physical, emotional, psychological, etc) and well into adulthood from unhealed parents, family, ex-husband and other relationships. I didn’t really realize I was being abused until around age 44 and still didn’t really even know what it was except I started noticing I never had any real loving reciprocal relationships/friendships and was only being used! I moved 3 states from my hometown in August 2021 to get away from everyone in my life and learn who I was without the all abuse, abandonment, backstabbing gossip, lies, jealousy, manipulation, neglect, negativity, rejection etc…Since I moved I found Quora and learned a lot of information about my family and the damage that was done to me from mostly my own mother. I now suffer from CPTSD, anxiety, depression and have therapy weekly. It’s been 5 painful years of healing that damage and still have more healing to do, just not as painful. I pray our world and Judicial systems learn about Narcissistic Personality Disorders and finds ways to identify human beings with it and hold them accountable, responsible and get the mental therapy to help them heal from it. If there’s on thing I have learned about NPD is that it is NOT hereditary; however it IS generational and starts from birth, to the environment and upbringing. My last thought is people having babies should be required to have parenting classes and taught parental responsibility, if they don’t follow the guidelines then the children should be removed and adopted out to those who will and do! There are so many couples unable to have children and would be very happy at the chance to love, support, guide and raise the children to be compassionate, respectful, responsible adults; which would make our world a better place!

Please very needed - narcissism should be a crime and in jail’s

I support this law. Victims of abuse deserve help and compensation. Hopefully it will serve as a deterrent in society, giving individuals reason to think hard before hurting others and damaging their lives.

i’m happy that so much awareness is being brought to this crisis. It is no longer acceptable that our government or law-enforcement and the judges and courts that make decisions for our lives somehow live in this parallel universe, where abuse doesn’t exist. I’m hoping anyway that I can I think all of our stories should be printed over and over by hundreds of thousands of millions of people and dumped on every judge, lawyer and politicians desk until generations from now don’t exist baby narcs are in time outs and we live as moral truthful and honest beings

So very happy this type of abuse is now being ousted. How fortunate I would have been years ago if this law had been passed. The only way I was able to break free of my narcissistic marriage was him dying!

I am the alienated parent, the trauma has destroyed me! My daughter is just abusive as her father that she lives with! A heinous crime destroying innocent children and the alienated parent. Our courtrooms and.judicial system is nothing but a crooked financial rat race!
