i am a veteran with 3-5 deployments i have ptsd, chronic pain,anxiety depression and i cant sleep marijuana helps more than all the prescriptions i take this i know for sure please help legalize it

With other states making a profit from the sales, why are we saying no to money. Our bars stay open 24/7/365. In that aspect we are unlike any other state in the Union. It only makes sense that at least New Orleans would be able to sell the real thing so that all the chemists would have to do something else besides making synthetics. If you think about how many tourists visit NOLA every year, it would make their visit that much more memorable if tourists could sit at Cafe Du Monde and smoke or the moon walk or any other scenic historic place. I am sure that there would even have a festival for it like Jazz Fest or the like. Imagine how much money the politicians can slyly put into their own pockets from the sales. $5million in one week (as shown by sales in Colorado) is nothing to sneeze at. I wish I had the money to run for office I know many people in the New Orleans/Metairie, Baton Rouge, Opelusous/Mamou/Pine Prairie, Alexandria/Pine Ville, Laffyette, Lake Charles areas that smoke. If anyone or group actually took a real poll of everyone in the state (except career politicians) I could almost bet 100% of the population would be in support of taxation. Also, think about how long our grow season is. We would be able to sell to states like Alaska which does not have a very long grow season. To just simply say no because even a smaller percentage of the population in DC's federal government says it is wrong is not what our French Culture is about. Oh wait, Jindal is not French so he is able to take away our Culture from us as he sees fit (Sarcasm). It is about time to tell Jindal just because 16% of the population voted him into office, does not give him supreme authority to do what he wants and make us not unique anymore. It is time to take back our state from this tyrant. Let us have a state referendum to decide if we should pass this or not. (I honestly do not care if we have a law that allows a referendum or not. We the people make the laws that govern us.)
