Please help build a safe and strong community space for us here in the Triangle. Those of us that use this park regularly cannot use it but 1/2 of the year due to the time change. It's a pitch black vortex at night. And we miss our evening gatherings. This not just safety, it's community. Thanks.

We really need lights. The park has become a central place where parents of kids and fur babies can gather, get to know neighbors and play. It's so important to keep this communal gathering point safe during the winter months.

I don't like having to avoid my neighborhood park after 6pm or before 6am when I walk my dog. Lights would make the park so much more useable!

I live right by the Temescal Creek Park and now in November, by the time I get home from work between 5:30 and 6, it's pitch black. I still walk my dogs in the park and really only feel safe because I have my dogs with me. There are people who hang out in that park at night, and it's pretty creepy. The small investment in lights would go a long way toward making the park safer.

We should install lights at Temescal Creek Park. With the sun setting earlier in the winter, the park is basically unusable for many community members who want to take kids or walk dogs there after work. A few lamps on timers would be an efficient, practical solution that would help maximize use of the space.

This is a no brainer! It gets dark at 5pm now and by the time I get home from work it's dark. If I want to walk my dog, I dont want to do it in the dark!
