The BRE guidelines for daylight must be complied with, as a lack of natural light will be detrimental to the mental health and wellbeing of the residents.

This development will bring no services and take away residents light

Wandsworth council have already approved this application 2015-0881 – the Homebase site on York Place. But the Mayor of London and the GLA are due to meet on the morning of Thursday 6th August, 2015 to decide whether they approve the application as well. There were 169 objections to this application which Wandsworth council ignored along with independent expert witness evidence. The proposed development will significantly and harmful impact on the homes especially within Trade Tower, with respect to daylight, privacy and general well being within the community.

I have lived in Plantation Wharf for almost a year now and EVERY day there is some sort of building work, it was the completion of Battersea Reech, then it was affordable housing in Chatfield Road, they are still finishing a monstrosity in Plough Road and are nowhere near finished the Pier in Coral Row that was due for completion in March! Plantation Wharf have given notice to most of the offices in the community, why? because they wish to turn the office units into saleable homes, MORE BUILDING WORK, RESIDENTS. Now this obscene proposal with hundreds of houses is really too much. At what point are the residents allowed to live in peace? surely you can’t be expected to live next to building sites forever? There is still an application outstanding to add new floors to the building im currently living in for goodness sake. This represents greed and nothing else. In terms of the development itself, do you really think it is a good idea to cram so many people into a space such as this? At present it is near on impossible at times to access York Road, there is a bus lane in place which if you add hundreds of new cars to the area exactly when will we EVER be able to access York Road? Where will many of the residents park? Surely this poses a huge environmental issue? as well as guaranteed increase in traffic pollution you will also have thousands of new residents breathing in this extra pollution, with so many residents per square foot how can people possibly breath clean fresh air? The "trees" / "garden" that they wish to create is laughable, it’s not only too small for all the residents to enjoy its next to one of the busiest roads in London. What about the housing schemes currently in place? Why should those who have bought their homes be expected to lose money by cramming more houses into an already very tight space? There is no consideration for the loss of views, or the fact the proposed structure does not fit in with the look of any oth

The council have shown complete disregard to the concerns of the neighbouring residents. An independent report into the effects on daylight and overshadowing has shown that the architects own report is seriously flawed. The council have been dismissive and unwilling to explore the possibility of a more favourable design for Wandsworth's residents.

I have previously objected to this. None of my concerns have been addressed. I suggest the proper process is followed and that people's objections are addressed rather than ignored. This development will contribute to noise pollution, overcrowding, traffic and will block natural light for existing developments on either side.

This building will block the natural light that we have on our balcony. I am also concerned about the dust, pollution and increase in traffic affect my baby's health.

The lose of light will have us all living in the shadows. One only has to walk through a previously approved development (Battersea REach) to understand the scale and scope of the development on going in the Battersea area near the river. The over development and overcrowding will have a huge impact on the quality of life, community spirit, well-being of residents and the eventual downfall of the local area, local infrastructure cannot sustain such growth in population especially with all the fiscal cuts being imposed. The proposals do not satisfactorily address general development principles relating to sustainable urban design and the quality of the environment (Policy DMS1). Which this planning application along with ones already approved and pending the Air Quality in this area will continue to jeopardize the health and safety of the young and elderly. London has the poorest air quality in Europe, in some areas of London no new schools or hospitals are allowed to be constructed because of this problem. The sheer number of additional residents will drive the already stress infrastructure to the breaking point. Hospitals, Surgeries, and schools in the area already cannot handle the numbers. The roads in this area already flood during heavy rains. Approval of this construction will only add to the London flooding problem.

There appears to be an element of greed in this planned development, a simple review of height is the need. I have no issue with the site being updated but only when the concerns around height and light have been addressed and fit both resident approval and the councils original requirements.

There is already enough overdevelopment in Battersea, where I live at Falcon Wharf we are already subjected to building works as they build a bar some flats and a playground on our roof terraces following another poor decision by the council. the whole thing is out of control now without a thought for the residents and it is time the Council saw sense and drew a line under these ridiculous applications which are only approved in order to raise money for the Council's dogmatic approach to building the Jubilee footbridge using CIL because the Freeholder at Falcon Wharf and One World Design Architects failed in their attempts to raise money by sponsorship in return for naming rights even though they boasted publicly of their influence at the time of planning permission for the bridge, their plan was found wanting.

This development could easily be supported if the main tower blocks were a reasonable height, 21 floor here is a ridiculous size, when a more considered view along the lines of trade tower, would be acceptable. The Developer has made no attempt to consider local residents

This is simply over-development and replaces low-rise and open spaces (Homebase car park) with the exact opposite. The loss of the (rare around here) mature trees is also very significant. York Road itself is already carrying more traffic than it is designed for. This site's development should not be agreed in isolation without consideration of all the other major developments of nearby sites as well. That "consultation" is happening AFTER this has been approved!

This will have a damaging effect on the surrounding sites and must be reduced drastically
