Vanaf 1 januari 2011 verliest de Liga haar subsidies.
Ik protesteer met klem tegen het wegvallen van de subsidiëring van de Liga voor Mensenrechten. Door het ondertekenen van deze petitie verzoek ik de Vlaamse regering uitdrukkelijk de Liga voor Mensenrechten vzw actief te ondersteunen. De Liga moet blijven bestaan en alle kansen krijgen om zich verder uit te bouwen.
Vlaanderen zonder een autonome mensenrechtenorganisatie is ondenkbaar.
De noodzakelijke subsidies moeten opnieuw worden toegekend.

One hundred people have joined this fight to keep the Liga alive. Reading your names reminds me why I started this because a future without our independent watchdogs is not a future I recognize.

schandalig. de enige die nog echt opkomt voor de zwakkeren.
Ongelofelijk dat dit zelfs een discussie is. Blijf de Liga steunen svp.
Dit soort organisaties zijn broodnodig om de machthebbers scherp te houden. Niet besparen op de democratie!
Dit is echt te zot voor woorden. Waar moet het heen met ons land als we kritische stemmen gewoon de mond snoeren door de kraan dicht te draaien?
Mensenrechten zijn geen luxe maar een basisrecht. De Liga moet blijven bestaan.

We hebben de Liga nodig in Vlaanderen. Zonder hun kritische blik worden we blind voor wat er misloopt. Subsidiëring moet gewoon doorgaan.
