Everyone is aware that I have always been the only active parent in my son's life Kyle, especially when it comes to supporting my son, extra curricular activities, education and just being there for my son. After 12 years Ryan has decided to start a custody battle with me because he believes it will relieve the 22,000.00 he owes in child support and he will never have to pay child support again. In doing so he has damaged my son beyond repair with his vendetta. After 12 years, Ryan has shown up only twice to the school my son attends only to use the staff to facilitate his intimidation and abuse on both my son and I. This past Friday, December 14th, 2012, I went to the school to pick up my son for a doctor's appointment and Ryan was in the main office. So instead of causing myself and Kyle possible harm, I went instead into a guidance counselors office and explained who I was, why I was there and if they could please assist with me signing my child out properly by bringing the sign in sheet to the counselors office so Kyle and I were not subjected to Ryan. The staff spent over 2 hours listening to Ryan's lies, never speaking to me. I spoke to my attorney, the school's attorney and both attorney's spoke to each other. At no point was I asked to leave or to go into the main office. Actually the school sent someone in to detain Kyle and I. After the school attorney ordered the release of my son to me, the school staff without asking the attorney decided to give me a criminal trespass warning. This means I can not come within 1000 feet of the school ever. It stands forever! I never refused anything the school asked me, I never raised my voice, they intimidated myself and my son, and they did the whole trespass in front of my son! OCPS staff does not seem to consider the facts or the children. I can no longer have lunches with my son as I have for 12 years. I can no longer bring him prescribed medicines on Ryan's days at the school because Ryan can't be bothered to give them to Kyle, I can no longer pick up or drop off my son at school. I am team Mom of Kyle's basketball team and Championship game is on Wednesday December 19th. As it stands right now I can not go because it is on school grounds. Kyle is now petrified to go to school because he is afraid Ryan will come get him from school because I can protect him due to the trespass warning. Ryan has never attended a game! Ryan has never contributed positively to Kyle's life. The school deputy actually believes is me who is using Kyle as a pawn. For those of you who know the truth, please sign this to help get Kyle back the feeling of being safe at the school and his mother allowed back on campus as Kyle has loved it for 12 years. As many signatures I can get tonight would help! I need this lifted by Wednesday as Kyle is devastated that I can not attend his Championship game! He is also terribly afraid his father will come take him from the game or school. I did nothing to deserve this trespass, I did what I thought was safe for all parties, including other students in campus. I am not a salesman like Ryan. Ryan has traumatized Kyle so much to try to "win" his custody case. Never once in Kyle's life has Ryan put Kyle first, or Kyle's needs first. Now the school has ripped away the security and comfort of his Mother, thereby traumatizing Kyle even more. Please sign as quickly as possible, show the school the truth! Prove to the school what you all already know. I beg you, please for Kyle!

Seems like the school is overstepping here. Attorney said she could leave so why were they detaining her? Nonsense.

This is just ridiculous. Schools should be safe places for kids not spots to play power games. Leave the mom alone

UNFAIR!!! The school staff should be ashamed of themselves for letting him intimidate her. Poor kid having to see that

Schools got no business getting involved in custody drama like this. Just let the boy go with his doctor appointment

So frustrating when the school takes sides without knowing the full story. He owes child support and gets to pull this stunt? No way.
