We know enough of this virus now to make informed decisions. Those who want vaccinated have been. Those who have been exposed have developed antibodies since that's how our bodies respond to viral exposures. In general I think parents should have the option to choose whether or not to mask their children. I'm not against a protocol for a child with a cough wearing a mask at school or one returning from being sick at home to wear one for a day or two upon returning to class. If a child becomes sick while at school I would think it acceptable for that child to wear a mask while waiting for pick up from a parent/guardian. The general population in the school should not be forced to wear masks though. Why not offer free antibody testing for everyone so we can all see our risk levels. So many have been exposed and now have antibodies it could really out this vaccine push into perspective.

I agree with you. Look at Florida and they have had less of any mask mandates and the kids are doing fine! The “science” has been one way in the media but in actuality there are multiple other sources from doctors and pediatricians that say the kids are fine and will be fine.

I will NOT mask my child again. The science does not show that cloth masks work and the teachers who have chosen to get vaccinated shouldn't worry if the vaccine is 98% effective. I will not conply!

It would be nice I was the only parent there at the meeting and one other lady who was demanding mask mandate for all vaccinated or not because of new CDC guidelines that was based off another country not even here..they need to look at each area and make decisions based off parents opinions and the fact that the numbers are down not spiked as they was last year..this is insane..parents are fb warriors but I didn't see anyone show up and speak out I sat down with Mr.Price asked my questions spoke my concerns addressed and it was looking like good possibilities until the other lasy spoke up saying CDC guidelines changed but they could possibly change many times between now and when school starts who knows ..
