My dog didn't have a mean bone in his body.
It's all depends on how you raise them, any dog.

This ban is silly and unjustified. Just like with any other living creature the environment you are raised in will dictate the way you act. Dogs are loving and trainable... all they want is to love you and please you... so please don't tell me that a pity is more likely to hurt me than any little dog breed... the pit's I know are just big babies... products of their environment

All dogs are born with a loving spirit. They should not be punished for what people do. This breed is so very loving

This ban has caused a lot of grief for people who own, or have owned these dogs and dogs that just look like a pit bull. I can't see where anything good has been accomplished by this ordinance. Address the abusive and neglectful owners instead.

Lift the ban! It is unfair and unjustified! These dogs can make wonderful family pets. Any mistreated or neglected dog can be a threat. All dog owners need to be responsible for the care and well being of their animals and the community they live in.

I believe this ban should be lifted. There are no dangerous dog breeds. There are dogs with lack of training and owners with lack of responsibility. If you really wanted to regulate breeds, you would demands the owner and dog go through a training course and the dog wear a shock collar. Some don't agree with using shock collar but they are the best training method out there. Make changes and requirements to the law. If someone loves or owns a "dangerous breed" and they want to keep them, they should have to be required to go through training, if their pet means that much to them. Then it would help ensure the safety of anyone around the animal. Don't ban them, train them.

Been in love with this breed for over 30yrs. I’ve worked with rescue for over decade and I’ve been bit more from dachshunds Chihuahuas and other small breeds. More then I ever have any larger breed. Not saying it can’t happen, just saying all dogs bark, play and can bite.....
