You clearly don’t understand anything about the topic you started a petition about. It isn’t “biological male” it’s transgender female. Get that right first. If you aren’t comfortable with policies like this you should probably find another gym or, better yet, a different state because you aren’t going to win this fight in Illinois. As far as criminal or background checks…that would be illegal. Get over the fear that male criminals and predators are going to be the ones going into “female” locker rooms. Lifetime isn’t the first company to have this policy and they most definitely will not be the last!

It’s quite clear what new Alabama laws say about transgender usage of public bathrooms. They must use the bathroom that their birth certificate says. It’s disturbing enough that society has to make laws for this type of moral decay. In fact, since transgender people can’t figure out what they want to be, they should have to use their own separate bathroom. Their problems/decisions should not be imposed on the normal people and families of society. Their problems/decisions are not normal and should be treated as such. Their problems/decisions should not affect the development of any child under the age of 18. If your gym does not recognize that stance and choose to allow such immoral behavior, then the people of your gym will choose to go to other establishments that teach normal behavior. Life is nothing but choices; choose wisely!

Women in private spaces deserve PRIVACY from men in their private spaces. It’s not about fear of other people. It’s very much about common sense and common decency. Something you clearly care nothing about respecting, guarding the normal moral boundaries of human behavior. Men are Men and none of them would be here without women and we don’t want pervs in our locker room.

We were considering joining Lifetime this summer. Not anymore. I am not allowing my 14 year old daughter to use a dressing room with this policy in place. My wife didn't like using the dressing room at the YMCA because they only had a few private changing stalls. She certainly will not want to use a dressing room where biological males can freely circulate.
