Lent is traditionally a season of prayer, fasting and giving as we prepare our hearts for Easter. But this year, lent is going to be more than that! This year lent will be not only a time a personal reflection, but also a time to connect with God’s heart for the hurting. This year lent is about both individual spiritual growth and global outreach. This year, from Ash Wednesday (March 9) to Easter (April 24), we are choosing to give life for lent!
How? Watch the video. For 6 weeks we abstain from something that costs about $30 a week, spend the extra time in prayer for abused and exploited girls, and give the saved $$ to transform her life!
