The waiting list for reconstructive surgery for women who have just been through breast cancer in Queensland, is around three years. I feel that with what we have been through already, having to wait for so long is unacceptable. I also feel that we need a counsellor while going though this time, as currntly there is no such support. We hope that by starting this petition we can bring this problem to the attention of the Australian Government.
