We are team which establishes a new petting zoo in Sochi. We buy from photographers different types of animals: lemurs, lorises, meerkats. These photographers make them have picture taken in hot weather. Animals starve and are kept in unsanitary conditions. People do not understand that, animals are transported in small dirty cages before become “photographer’s model”. Most of them die at this stage. In order to animals do not bite and don’t pose no hazard to clients, teeth and claws are pulled out. Also they are drugged by tranquilizers.

We are not indifferent to this problem. In the end of 2010 we bought two lemurs, which were not need to their previous owners after the one more “profitable” summer. At this moment we have 15 animals and they are in team member’s homes. Care for pets is becoming harder and harder. There is exigence to build a comfortable residence, where we can gather all of our animals. That is why we collect money for a petting zoo construction, animal treatment and the distribution of flyers to support of the petition against the photographers which we wrote earlier.
