Animals have a right to be treated properly, insignificant penalties is not a deterrant. Don't give these cruel people the opportunity to re-offend.

All of nature should be respected and looked after. Those that don't should be punished. Why keep allowing those convicted of cruelty and abuse to commit further cruelty and abuse to another? If they have been convicted, they have shown that they are incapable/untrustworthy and should be punished for what they did and not trusted/allowed to be in a position to possibly re-offend and cause more harm. Life time bans would also cut out on costs for individuals like RSPCA in taking re-offenders to court again and the expenses for recovering more victims of the same re-offender. I think those convicted should also be made to repay all the expenses incurred for the victims recovery.

i dnt understand why they just get a ban, they should be thrown in jail for about 10 years and banned for life so they can never hurt an animal again

longer sentences and life time ban from being around or owning a animal.
