Having never set up a company prior to Goody Granola I am continuously/brilliantly/terrifyingly learning. Last week only of course after paying a non refundable trademark fee I learnt just the word ‘registered’ actually meant Lidl have the trademark for the word Goody in the cereal category until 2027. However Lidl only sell a hot chocolate with the name goody. I’m a tiny business with hope, belief but no budget. Therefore I am desperate for signatures to help persuade Lidl who aren’t using the word goody on any cereals to let me use the name my 7 year old son came up with for my home made, low sugar granola. ‘Goody Granola’. The IPO are formally approaching Lidl, but I want to also, do all I possibly can. I am desperate not to start packaging and design from scratch, and throw away paid for stock. So all signatures appreciated and needed. Please share. Yours hopefully Beth @goody_granola
The momentum behind this petition is incredible and shows that people understand why a small business deserves a fair chance. Please post the link on Facebook and text three friends to keep this pressure on Lidl. Everyone needs to email their local store manager today so they feel this energy on the ground.

Please let the wonderful Goody Granola be the wonderful small business that they deserve to be. They bring healthy delights to their happy customers and will have no impact on the mighty Lidl. This family have worked so very hard to achieve their client base and their modest level of success. Goody is just a word - please do the right thing and share it!

Let the little business use the word ‘goody’ for their granola. No one will be confused with the Lidl product.

How can it be right for a multi international company to own the rights over a word.

Please Lidl let Beth keep her Goody name. Support a small business and a positive lovely lady whose family are behind her creation. They are always supporting others....hope you will too.
