LPNs are a valued part of the health care system. We are nurses working directly with patient care. We work in hospitals in all settings, long term care facilities, home care and so much more. We are nurses that take care of your family members at their time of need. We give them medicine, assess them, talk with the doctors about their care and plan of action. We make sure they are well taken care of in collaboration with other nurses, doctors, respiratory therapists, physiotherapists etc. The Licensed practical Nurse and the Registered Nurse work together to make sure our patients receive the best quality care.
